Bike history:
- 1985 Honda "THE REBEL" 250
- ~1999 - ~2000
- tiny learner bike. topped out at ~85kph
- can indeed make it to whistler and back.
- obtained from Scott Fynn
- handed on down (to Grant?)
- 1992 Honda VFR750r
- ~2000 - ~2002
- heavy. ~480 lbs dry. comfortable.
- like ~88 HP or so. very fast compared to the rebel. :)
- bought from Carter Honda. They lied to me about it never having fallen over.
- sold to a cool dude in east van that looked like Moby.
- 1999 Honda CBR1100xx
- ~2002 - ~2005
- yellow.
- also heavy. ~495 lbs dry. super comfortable w/ Corbin seat and Helibars.
- STUPID FAST. ~165 HP. very smooth inline 4
- loved freeways, and loved going >100kph.
- stolen out of urbanski's basement garage (;_;)
- ICBC is a bitch.
- 2005 Suzuki SV1000s
- Jan 2007 to current
- awesome v-twin sound. love it.
- great bike around town. always turns heads with the exhaust note. (then people are like, "oh, it isn't a Ducati. pshhh.")
- I *think* ~123 HP. less power than the XX for sure, but lighter also.
- not really torquier than the big XX engine either, even though it's a twin (because of overall less power)
- bought from a dude in Redding CA.
- currently in my underground garage. (hopefully not being stolen)
